Despite the sweat & heat, one of the reasons I love summer is-- MANGOES!! It is perhaps the most loved fruit across the country. From buds to ripe sweet fruit, in its every form this king of fruit never ceases to amaze me with its diverse taste. All delicacies prepared from any form of mango, have their own story associated with each household; be it pickle, chutney, tangy drinks made from raw mango or innumerable desserts made from ripe ones.

With days getting warmer and mangoes in full swing, my kitchen is all set to whip up some mango delicacies from raw mango drinks & jams to ripened ones turned into delish desserts & nourishing drink like this mango lassi aka mango & yogurt smoothie. A perfect way to start your day with goodness of fruit and yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Ripe mango (chopped)
  • 1 cup Dahi/plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 3-4 Ice cubes

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Grind everything together. Serve chilled.
